- Event Hosts are able to apply time adjustments to activities in advance of the Event taking place. Attendees are asked if they have a need for adjustment when self-booking or at the point of invitation, when not using the self-booking feature. Once a need for adjustments has been flagged and confirmed as reasonable, Admins or Event Hosts are able to make the time adjustment change.
- To apply the extra time, navigate to the timetable and select Edit Time Adjustment Attendees:
- Then select the attendees who require time adjustments:
- Click the Show Request dropdown to view further details on the requested adjustments
- Once you have selected the attendees who require time adjustments, the timetable will show a small clock icon next to the attendee names:
- Depending on the type of activity, a separate preparation room may be required for the attendee to prepare for the main activity. If this is the case, it will be automatically added to the attendee's timetable when they are marked as requiring time adjustments. This is commonly used for group activities.
- For activities that require time adjustments but have not been configured to use a separate preparation room, the activity's duration will be automatically extended to allow the attendee extra time to complete the task. This is often the case for single-attendee interview activities.
- Some activities do not require time adjustments. In this case the activity's duration will not be changed. This might include welcome activities or Q&A sessions.
- The duration of the activities can be edited further as needed by clicking into the activity:
- Please note, if the time adjustment activity is adjusted/moved around in any way which causes the time adjustment activity to clash with another activity, it will highlight the clash and not allow you to save the changes to the timetable until the timetable has been updated so that there are no clashes.
