How do I turn off my pop-up blocker?

• Pop-up blockers on your device can prevent your assessment window from opening; so they should always be disabled.
• This may also be the case with some anti-virus software packages and toolbars. Please read the manual for your anti-virus software to find out how you can temporarily disable your pop-up blockers.
• To turn off your pop-up blocker, follow the instructions for the browser you are using:

  • Edge (Windows 10 onwards)

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the More button at the top right.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Cookies and site permissions on the left.
5. Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
6. Disable the Block (recommended) toggle. 

• Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More Settings.
3. Click Privacy and security Site settings Pop-ups and redirects.
4. Toggle the setting to Allowed.
5. Select Done and refresh the browser.

• Firefox

1. If you’re using Windows, in the Firefox window, select Open menu > Settings.

   Tip:  If you’re using a Mac, go to Firefox > Preferences.

2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.
3. Go down to the Permissions section.
4. Uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows
5. Click OK.

• Safari

                 Older Safari Browsers;

1. On your Mac, go to Safari > Preferences > Websites.
2. Click Pop-up windows on the left.
3. On the bottom right next to When Visiting Other Websites select Allow.
4. Select Close and refresh the browser.

                Newer Safari Browsers;

1. Open Safari and click Safari in the top menu bar, then choose Settings (or Preferences).
2. Click the Websites tab at the top.
3. Scroll down the left menu and select Pop-up Windows.
4. In the bottom-right corner, change the setting for "When visiting other websites" to Allow.
