- Pop-up blockers on your device can prevent your assessment window from opening; so they should always be disabled.
- This may also be the case with some anti-virus software packages and toolbars. Please read the manual for your anti-virus software to find out how you can temporarily disable your pop-up blockers.
- To turn off your pop-up blocker, follow the instructions for the browser you are using:
Edge (Windows 10 onwards)
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the More button at the top right.
- Click Settings.
- Click Cookies and site permissions on the left.
- Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
- Disable the Block (recommended) toggle.
Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More

- Toggle the setting to Allowed.
- Select Done and refresh the browser.
Firefox
If you’re using Windows, in the Firefox window, select Open menu
> Settings.
Tip: If you’re using a Mac, go to Firefox > Preferences.
- Select the panel.
- Go down to the Permissions section.
- Uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows
- Click OK.
Safari
Older Safari Browsers;
- On your Mac, go to Safari > Preferences > Websites.
- Click Pop-up windows on the left.
- On the bottom right next to When Visiting Other Websites select Allow.
- Select Close and refresh the browser.
Newer Safari Browsers;
- Open Safari and click Safari in the top menu bar, then choose Settings (or Preferences).
- Click the Websites tab at the top.
- Scroll down the left menu and select Pop-up Windows.
- In the bottom-right corner, change the setting for "When visiting other websites" to Allow.
